This is my go-to dessert for when I absolutely NEED CHOCOLATE CAKE, but don’t have the time. Microwave Chocolate Mug Cake!
I mean, when am I NOT craving chocolate cake, ya know?
But, if you know me by now, you know I’m INCREDIBLY lazy. So mug cakes have Vic written allllll over them.
It’s super simple, so I’ll jump right in…
First, place your dry ingredients (flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, sugar, salt) into a large mug and whisk until combined.

^Not sure why I took a pic before I combined them, but here we are.
From there, add in the milk and oil and whisk until no longer clumpy.

Add in some chocolate chips for good luck!
Throw that baby in the microwave and 75 seconds later you have a deliciously moist chocolate cake.
PSA: All microwaves are different, but you should be safe with 70-80 seconds. There are no eggs in here, so regardless you’ll be fine.

It really is that simple! Microwave Chocolate Mug Cake! Dangerously easy…
You can play around with different flavors, but the measurements may change a bit since the cocoa powder adds some important flavor. But, I’m all about like quadrupling the number of chocolate chips involved. 🙂
