Vic’s Tricks To…Air Fryer Cauliflower w/ Fancy Sauce

Jump to recipe

I love snacks. And this Air Fryer Cauliflower.

Now don’t get me wrong, I love a good, well-rounded meal (shoutout to dinner). But, sometimes you just need a little snack.

The issue is, most snacks out there are just crap. Yes sure chips and candy and cheese and crackers are freakin’ delicious. But, not so much nutritious.

So, I came up with a snack that totally satisfies my cravings AND fills me up.

Crispy Cauliflower

Now, I’m sure you all know by now that cauliflower is literally the best thing ever. It’s my personal favorite “carb-replacement-veggie” and can take sooo many forms.

In this case, we’re crisping them up and eating them with some of Vic’s Fancy Sauce. Come along with me on this very short journey…

Preheat an oven to 450° or an air fryer to 400°.

Cut your cauliflower into bite-sized florets and place into a large mixing bowl.

Vic Trick: Let’s be real, your florets are not all going to be the same size and that’s OK! Just try and make them as similar as possible or some will burn before others are even cooked.

In the bowl, drizzle a little olive oil and sprinkle cajun seasoning (or just salt & pepper if you don’t like spicy!) while tossing the cauliflower in the bowl, so the seasoning is dispersed evenly.

Spread the cauliflower onto a baking sheet for the oven or an air fryer.

Vic Trick: Make sure you do not overcrowd the baking sheet or air fryer basket. This will cause the cauliflower to steam rather that roast/fry and not get crispy.

Cook for about 20-25 minutes or until cauliflower is brown and crispy.

While it’s cooking, make some of Vic’s Fancy Sauce.

Vic’s Fancy Sauce = 70% Buffalo Wing Sauce + 30% Blue Cheese Dressing

I swear this sauce is like the greatest thing ever. Mixing the two just makes so much sense! And you can always go 50/50 if you don’t like it too spicy.

Or if you don’t like spicy at all, use something like ranch, BBQ, or teriyaki sauce! Play with mixing!

Pull your cauliflower out of the oven/fryer, grab some fancy sauce, and get to snackin’!

Happy Eating!
